About CQ Cards
What is unique about the CQ Cards custom invitation and thank you card service?
We make custom design easy by having our professional consultants and designers will work with you throughout the entire process. There is no need for you to learn or use software. You have much more flexibility to get your cards just the way you want them. .
We provide our service both your personal and business events.

What are the benefits?
We do the card personalization for you. If you like the idea of a highly personalized card but don’t have the time, patience or graphic computer skill to do them yourself, our card service is ideal for you.
Our design templates are just an easy Starting Point. We give you the flexibility to request any changes you want. Change the color or any text. Add your own words. Best of all, we’ll personalize our templates with your photos. They will become a lasting memento of your event – a keepsake for everyone!
The design is integrated through the entire card. Where other card invitations only use the front cover for the design and the inside left for the messaging, CQ Invitations and Thank-You Cards offer the entire card surface for your design.
Our square card format makes for a unique presentation. Each card is approximately 5 ½ inches square. You can choose from one of three card formats. Our Treo ( 3 panel) Collection offers lots of space for your photos. The Duo ( 2 panel) and Uno (single 2-side) Collection lines are more traditional in their format. To enhance the presentation of our treasured photographs, all our Collection card lines are printed on glossy 100 lb premium card stock.
With our Treo Collection card line, optionally, we can personalize the card to each recipient. The card recipient name and address are printed directly on each card. They are mailed in an attractive windowed envelope which shows your name and return address. You can also choose to personalize your message appearing on the inside middle panel with the card recipient’s name. It’s a nice personal touch.
Alternatively, for all our Collection Card Lines, you can choose our label personalization program. Email us your card recipient names and addresses in a spreadsheet. We will print and apply card recipient mailing labels. There is a charge of $0.15 per card. The cost of the postage is extra.

Can I see a printed sample?
Yes, certainly. You can order that through our website (see left menu bar). Please allow time for the post office to deliver it.

How does the design process work?
Submit a request to arrange a consultation (see left menu bar) or call toll free 1-866-516-0237 to reach one of our professional consultants located in Toronto, Canada. They will professionally answer your questions, start the order process and help you each step of the way.
How do we communicate?
Mostly by email or our toll free number.
What happens during the process?
You email us your choice of design, card format, photos, wording and other instructions. Your consultant email back your personalized card panels for you to view. You can request additional sequence of changes.
Once you approve the digital proof, we can mail you a printed proof or, at your instruction, simply print the entire order. We do what we do best and you get do other things while we do all that for you.
Pricing Plans and Payment
How does the card pricing work?
You pay for your cards based on the type of card format (1,2 or 3 panel) and the quantity. The time to personalize your choice of design is a flat fee per order. Where the changes become more extensive (including photo touch ups) we reserve the right to discuss an additional design setup fee above the normal pricing. Custom design is charged at $40 per hour. Delivery and handling charges, mailing label personalization and taxes are extra.

A card sample and your emailed proof are free. Once you order a printed proof we ask for payment of the design fee. Once you approve your order for printing we require the balance of your order to be paid in advance.
You can pay by credit card securely through PayPal.
What taxes are payable?
All orders are printed and shipped from Toronto. For Ontario residents all orders are subject to provincial retail tax of 8% and federal GST tax of 5%. Orders from out of province customers in Canada are subject only to GST. Orders originating from and shipped to the United States are not subject to tax.
Delivery and Handling Charges

Are the delivery charges?
Yes. Delivery charges apply to orders shipped back to you. These charges vary depending on the ship to destination, the size or your order and timeline to deliver. On request, we can provide a quotation in advance.
Orders from the United States
Orders shipped to USA destinations are sent by a combination of Canada Post / USPS parcel delivery.
Mailing Service

Will CQ Cards address my cards for me?
Yes. For the Treo Collection card line we can print the card recipient name and address directly on the Address Panel. Printed labels are used for the Duo and Uno Collection lines.
For orders within Canada we also offer a service to post your cards directly to the card recipients.
What are the postage charges?
For Canadian orders, the prevailing first class Canada Post domestic, US and International postage rates apply.
For US orders, we ship your order back to you for mailing. Our pricing includes an attractive white rectangular envelope with an inside pocket to hold a square card. These envelopes comply with the USPS requirments for standard first class postage.
What do you need from me to complete the mailing?
You simply fill out our standard Excel spreadsheet identifying the required information and email it to us.
Is there an additional charge for the mailing?
There is an additional charge of $0.15 per card (plus postage) for the Canadian mail service.
